This Refund Policy explains when refunds may be granted for purchases on AInker (ainker.org).

1. Overview

We want every user to have a great experience. Because AI generation consumes real computational resources, refunds are limited once generation begins.

2. Refund Eligibility

Time Window

  • Requests must be submitted within 3 days of purchase
  • Requests after this period are not eligible

Usage Threshold

  • If credits have been meaningfully consumed for generation or refinement, the purchase is non-refundable
  • "Meaningful" includes multiple generations, batch packs, or intensive refinement passes

Eligible Scenarios

Considered case-by-case:

  • Platform-wide outage preventing any generation
  • Billing errors or duplicate charges
  • Inability to access paid features despite valid payment
  • Other exceptional circumstances

3. Non-Refundable Situations

  • Generated or refined tattoo designs extensively
  • Consumed a significant portion of purchased credits
  • Used premium or batch features
  • Active subscription cycle already used for generation
  • Computational costs already incurred

4. How to Request a Refund

Email support@ainker.org with:

  • Account email
  • Order number / transaction ID
  • Purchase date
  • Detailed reason
  • Screenshots of errors (if applicable)

5. Review & Processing

  • Initial review within 1-2 business days
  • Additional clarification may be requested
  • Decision communicated via email
  • If approved: refund to original payment method within 5-10 business days

6. Subscription Management

Cancellation

  • Cancel anytime - stops future renewals
  • Current cycle remains active until end date
  • No pro-rata refund for time already used

Downgrades

  • Downgrade applies next billing cycle
  • No refund for unused credits in current cycle

7. Credit System

  • Purchased credits expire 100 days after payment lapse or account inactivity
  • Expired credits are not refundable
  • Trial and promotional credits are non-refundable and hold no cash value

8. Why This Policy Exists

Each tattoo generation involves real AI computation costs. Limiting refunds after substantial usage allows us to keep pricing accessible while investing in better design quality.

9. Dispute Resolution

  • Contact support before initiating any chargeback
  • Unresolved chargebacks may result in account suspension
  • We prefer direct resolution with users

10. Policy Changes

We may update this Policy. Latest version is always posted here. Material changes may be emailed to active users.
